On the precipice of a new year about to unfold, pausing to reflect upon 2023, a sense of great pride accompanies my holiday spirit. As you can see from the accomplishments above, the hard work of our teams have given way to a stunning trajectory of growth for the company, to which the efforts that all of you make every day have significantly contributed to position us where we are, heading into 2024. This past January, we had about 40 full-time employees. Our team roster will number above 120 for January in the coming year.

I want to thank Mike Detmer for his tremendous capacity in helping to steer our decision-making, which I feel has led to our unqualified successes this year. Not only have his keen instincts for navigating the stormy seas of consumer electronics made treacherous sailing less perilous, but he has also become a treasured friend. I look forward to Mike’s insights and intuitiveness to make 2024 an even greater year in AVPro’s history.

We are grateful for all of you who have supported AVPro throughout the year. With the right plans and people in place, and with what we have planned for 2024, all we can say is buckle up! But above all, please stay safe this holiday season. Look back fondly on the year that was, and embrace the new year to be. I and everyone at AVPro wish you a peaceful holiday and a prosperous New Year.
To allow our employees time to spend with their families, AVPro will be closed with limited support on December 25th and 26th and January 1st. From the entire team at AVPro, we wish you a happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year!

AVPro Edge is the Place for Dante

In the analog domain, audio is no more simply explained than point-to-point, channel-by-channel connectivity. Analog can be ideal over short distances, however, numerous drawbacks are incurred when a residence is actually an estate, or when a massive commercial project includes a naming rights bid. Enter Dante, the Aussie company Audinate’s acronym for Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet, their protocol for communicating multiple audio channels over standard Ethernet IP infrastructure, using Cat 5e or better, and also fiber—optic cabling.

It isn't easy to comprehend that the year’s end is near. 2023, marked a monumental year for AVPro filled with a multitude of milestones, propelling us to our most significant achievements yet. In Sioux Falls, AVPro's HQ underwent a massive transformation, adding space for product manufacturing and a top-notch quality assurance lab. We launched several new solutions like Dante audio devices, MXnet units, and innovative upgrades. Plus, the big news of AVPro acquiring AudioControl's Home Audio division promises significant developments in the upcoming year. Take a look back on 2023 with us and find out what we have in store for 2024.

AVPro Edge Delivers TAA Compliant Products

This past Summer, AVPro sent shockwaves through the Commercial A/V industry by announcing the first steps on a path to manufacturing products in the United States would begin later this year. In early 2024, we will begin shipping US versions of MXNet 1G encoders and decoders, the MXNet 10G TCVR, and AC-EX40-444 and AC-EX70-444 kits that exceed TAA compliance requirements. Commercial integrators accustomed to doing business via GSA Schedule contracts will soon have new opportunities to expand the MXNet footprint into installations from which they were previously excluded. All of us at AVPro are proud to know that our company will be among a limited number of American-based manufacturers able to declare TAA compliance, and more so for the impact this will have on the Sioux Falls economy.

Rack Management Just Got Easier with the new MXnet R15

Numbered slots enable integratos to identify each unit quickly and easily—especially useful in large installations. AVPro Edge rack accessories have been engineered for proper ventilation while positioning each device for effortless wire management.
