AVPro Global Joins Distribution Specialists, The Edge Group
- Published , by Justine Murray
AVPro Global, parent company of AVPro Edge, Murideo, and Bullet Train audio/video distribution products, today announced they are joining North American distribution network, The Edge Group, specializing in the A/V, security, low voltage, datacom, electronic MRO, and electronic OEM industries serving installers, integrators, and contractors across multiple channels.
Participation in Edge Group provides a cross-section of more than 120, active industry-involved and related entities easy, efficient, and professional access to the AVPro trio of brands, many of them that may not have previously been positioned to take advantage of the innovative signal delivery solutions AVPro has developed based upon our in-depth video science origins.
“We feel Edge Group skillfully fills the void we have otherwise been unable to address through traditional representation, with their unique dealer blend of those who are active in the channel we occupy, but also for companies on the periphery that will find access to our products broaden their ability to offer solutions they may not have otherwise had available to them,” said Jeff Murray, AVPro’s CEO, and Founder.
AVPro CTO and President Matt Murray added, “With our recent InfoComm announcement this past June regarding complete device fabrication and manufacturing in Sioux Falls beginning shortly, Edge Group dealers will have a compelling story to tell in addition to product performance. AVPro will be one of only a select few in our channel to manufacture here in America. This will also provide us with the ability to pivot quickly when market whims and pressures steer dealers, which is essential for their business today as nearly all have unfortunately experienced supply procurement disruptions.”
AVPro will begin making products available to Edge Group distributors in the coming weeks ahead.
AVPro Edge HDBaseT and HDMI matrix switchers, extension kits, including HDMI fiber-based kits for complex distance-related signal delivery will be joined by the evolutionary AVPro Edge MXNet AV-over-IP Ecosystem, featuring our 1Gbps and Evolution II versions, plus our take on 10Gbps SDVoE, all easy-to-configure and rapidly deploy in infinitely scalable, A/V and control signal distribution systems.
The Murideo line-up of test, verification, and certification equipment will also be available, used by integrators, video calibrators, manufacturers, and the content creation industry including Dolby Laboratories and Xperi DTS / IMAX Enhanced, along with the Imaging Science Foundation, whose video display calibration seminars AVPro Edge and Murideo sponsor.
Bullet Train HDMI cabling, including our Active Optical Cables featuring Cleerline fiber technology, will be available through Edge Group.
