Dante Amplification with AC-DANTE-AMP-2CH by AVPro Edge

The AVPro Edge AC-DANTE-AMP-2CH is a two-channel Dante audio (or AES67) decoding amplifier designed to be placed in the relatively immediate area for powering one or two pairs of speakers. Additional line-level analog outputs pass the decoded Dante stream to an analog distributed audio system. Onboard power is rated at 25 watts per channel into 4 ohms to drive most architectural speakers to a comfortable volume level. Configuration plus operational commands that may need to be adjusted occasionally is easily accomplished via a web GUI.

Networked audio, such as the Dante and AES67 formats, is transported via category cable, making the AC-DANTE-AMP-2CH a unique problem solver when audio is desired in an area where only data cabling exists. The signal is synchronized to eliminate audible latency across multiple adjacent zones. Dante Controller (a free download from the Audinate website) manages Dante configuration and routing, and for the AC-DANTE-AMP-2CH, typical settings are set-and-forget. The small form factor enables discrete placement and is compatible with most major third-party automation systems.
