Over the past several weeks, AVPro has been hosting a plethora of webinars with some pretty outstanding guests. We wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of these professionals who took time out of their schedules to talk with us. Lets get to know them a little better...


​Anthony Grimani is a highly respected expert in audio engineering and acoustics, and has worked on over 1,000 media environment projects during his 35 year career. CustomRetailer magazine named him one of the “50 Most Vital Influencers”, he was inducted as Fellow of the CEDIA trade association, and CEPro Magazine named him one of the “Top 20 Most Influential People of the Past 20 Years.” Learn more about Anthony on his website.


Joel Silver is the President and founder of the Imaging Science Foundation, Inc., which was incorporated in 1994 to introduce video image quality calibration services into consumer electronics. He was awarded the CEDIA 2018 Lifetime achievement award and he volunteers as the chair of the CEA and CEDIA committee on Home Theater Video recommended practices. He also is the producer of the HDTV Calibration Wizard DVD. His work on advancing HDTV image quality was covered in the NY Times, the LA Times, Popular Mechanics, Wired and numerous A/V publications here and abroad. Kevin Miller is the owner of ISFTV, a Product Development Consulting company to the industry’s leading television and video source manufacturers. ISFTV has also been providing professional calibration services to the consumer and professional markets since the inception of the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) in early 1994. Kevin Miller is also the co-founder of TweakTV, an online publication dedicated to informing consumers about the latest developments in HDTV, and providing in-depth technical reviews of the latest HDTVs. Tyler’s role at Portrait Displays is as Technical Evangelist for the company’s Calman display calibration software, as well as Portrait’s many other color accuracy solutions. Tyler is also Portrait’s main liaison to Hollywood and the content creation industry, including Broadcast, Production, Post-Production, and VFX. For his company's HDR efforts, he was deeply involved in development of calibration processes, Calman workflows, and measurement methodologies for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG.


​Steve Shaw is one of the most respected figures in the global production community. He has insider knowledge of the emergence of high end digital post production, understands what it’s like to be an artist for hire and has driven colour science to a new level. His company, Light Illusion - a leading provider of colour management tools - is built on Shaw's ability to understand and communicate complex technologies to the DP and colorist and to listen to then translate their needs into technology in turn. 


Gregg Loewen is the founder of the PVA (Professional Video Alliance) and has been a respected authority in the video industry relating to standards, calibration, and setup for almost two decades. He created the THX Video Training Program, and has provided instruction and certification through this program since its inception in 2007. Casey is on the business development team at focusing on strategic partnerships and operations strategy. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration, has previous experience in the tech startup space, and is especially passionate around the convergence of technology and user experiences. A former collegiate athlete, Casey enjoys staying active, exploring new cultures, and continuously learning new skills. 




 Eric Bodley is the owner of Future Ready Solutions. ​For decades Eric has been a leader within our industry. He has been so influential that he was honored with the CEDIA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Eric has, among many other accomplishments, developed the custom installation division for specialty electronics retailer Sound Advice; certified hundreds of sales associates with his IHAVS™ program; launched a myriad of products and programs for Monster Cable Products; started Florida Home Entertainment Design (a CEPro Top 100 Integrator); and launched the revolutionary Perfect Path™ brand of Locking HDMI Cables for PPC®. ​Daniel Shwartzberg is the HDBaseT Alliance’s Director of Customer Experience. Daniel brings with him more than 20 years of experience, predominantly within the semiconductor industry. In his current role, he is responsible for leading the HDBaseT Alliance training and eco-system development activities, working closely with HDBaseT vendors and installers/integrators. To achieve this goal, he spearheads educational sessions around the globe to promote HDBaseT technology and usage and is the technical focal point for Alliance members and HDBaseT users.
