EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT: DANIELLE KANTACK
- Published , by Tom Devine
What is your Name and your roll at AVPro Global Holdings?
Danielle Kantack and I am the Sales Administrative Supervisor—I oversee the order entry process, collect any documents we may need from customers, assist the sales pros with day to day tasks and generally act as a hub between the sales team and any other departments.
Whats you favorite Color?
Purple and Gold! Skol Vikes!
Whats your favorite food?
I love all food! I would say sushi or rib-eye cap steak my hubby makes! I will try anything once, except for shellfish which I am allergic to.
What do you like about working at AVPro?
I love the friends that I’ve made, not only here in Sioux Falls, but from around the world. It’s also a perk that I do get to travel and see the world.
From your point of view, how is AVPro different from other electronic manufactures?
The great part about AVPro is that we listen directly to the customer. We take customer ideas, suggestions and complaints and try to turn them around into new or better products. Coming from a very corporate background, it’s very refreshing to work for a company that can implement changes so quickly, and effectively—from input based directly from customers.
What has been your best “moment” since working with AVPro?
My best moment was my first tradeshow, the CEDIA Expo in San Diego. I didn’t quite know what I was getting myself into as I was very new. I met a lot of AVPro Distributors that I was working with day to day and had a great time with our team!
AVPro operates out of South Dakota, what the best and worst part of living in the 605?
The best part of living in the 605 is that we have four seasons! We get to experience the beauty in each one! Also, there is hardly any traffic even in the biggest city in SD! The worst part is having to drive on the icy streets in the winter.
What is your favorite Consumer Electronic?
Honestly, it’s not very cool, but it’s my Amazon Fire Stick. I have a 5 year old daughter, so we do a lot of Just Dance and Kids yoga videos on YouTube. It’s a lifesaver as well, when my husband travels, as I can stream my workouts instead of going to the gym.
