Cooling fans in electronics is a commodity; everyone uses them. Computers, HDMI Sources, AV Distribution Products, Laptops, network switches, and many more products all use the same type of fan. This is just fine as it allows engineers a solution for heat dissipation when developing products.
The problem is that the same fans are being used in products tucked away not to be seen or heard and in products close to consumers' ears. Therefore, the consumer complains that the fans are too loud. The fans can cause white noise in a room designed for audio video excellence, even at a whisper level.

Already available in the AXION 8x8 (AC-AXION-8) and the Fresco 4 Video Wall Processor (AC-FRESCO-CAP4), AVPro will move to using Noctua fans in all products within the next two years.
